Do NASA Science LIVE! What's the Weather Like on Mars?

Thursday, April 2, 2:00–4:00 PM ET

Registration required: click here to register

Scientists want to know! Step into a new kind of space mission by "Cloudspotting on Mars" - looking at a set of NASA online images for signs of clouds above Mars. Every cloud you spot helps NASA scientists understand daily and seasonal weather patterns on the Red Planet, informing future missions and research. Join us Thursday April 2 at the library to learn more.

Open to adults, teens, and older children with adult supervision. Can also be a great activity for homeschoolers or families with older kids!

The library will be setting up the livestream projection and providing Wi-Fi and instruction sheets to create an account with Zooniverse, the web platform for this citizen science project. Bring a laptop or tablet to participate during the livestream!
